STEPHEN CLYNE

Coach Clyne currently holds Clemson’s record for most consecutive scoreless innings pitched in a season at 33.1. Additionally, he is 6th all-time in appearances in a single season (31), while only surrendering 2 HRs in over 100 innings at Clemson. Clyne finished his collegiate career with an ERA of 2.85, a fastball that topped out at 97 MPH, and one of the best-rated sliders in his draft class. Clyne would later be drafted in the 3rd round (123rd overall), by the New York Mets in the 2007 MLB Draft.

After professional baseball, Coach Clyne took over as the lead pitching instructor at Players Edge Baseball Academy where he developed pitchers of all ages from little leaguers to professionals. In 2016, Coach Clyne started the TBT Ballers and with the help of his team, the organization is now one of the most recognized in the country. The program is now a national powerhouse with over 70 teams across the US. In 2019 Clyne opened TBT Training which is recognized as one of the premier facilities for development in the US. Some of the best talent across MLB, college, and youth baseball train at the facility.

SEAN FARRELL

Coach Farrell was drafted in 2001 by the New York Mets out of Briarcliffe College in Long Island, NY. During his playing days, Farrell worked as a private instructor at Long Island Baseball Academy in Smithtown, NY. After 7 years of professional baseball, Coach Farrell decided to make coaching a career. As the pitching coach for Suffolk Community College, Sean’s team went on to play in the JUCO World Series.

After moving to Florida in 2011, Coach Farrell started doing private lessons in Coral Springs and Parkland. He was the owner and pitching coach for the Coral Springs Royals of the South Florida Collegiate League. From 2018-2021, Farrell developed the Arm Authority Pitching, a program designed to develop high-level pitchers, and was the pitching coach for Elite Squad Academy. Currently, Coach Farrell is the Director of Pitching for TBT Pitching Lab. Under Sean’s tutelage, dozens of youth athletes have achieved their dreams of playing in college and at the pro baseball level.

ALAN SHARKEY

Coach Sharkey attended Coral Springs High School as he began his varsity season as a freshman. Coach Sharkey was 1st team all-county 3 years in a row. He holds the hit record of 136. Coach Sharkey led his teams to 3 straight district titles from 2010-2013. In his Colts career, he had a .437 batting average. As a senior, he committed to Nova Southeastern University under Greg Brown but did not attend as he was drafted and signed by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 13th round in 2012.

Coach Sharkey spent 5 years with the Brewers organization and during his professional career, played in the Arizona, Pioneer, and Midwest Leagues. During the 2016 season, Coach Sharkey only made two errors in his 71 games at 1st base. In those 5 years, Coach Sharkey learned from some of the best hitting and fielding instructors to teach the game. After being released by the Brewers in 2016, Coach Sharkey took his knowledge from what he learned throughout his professional career and has shared it with young talented athletes. Coach Sharkey has trained many of the top players in the country and in 2021 and 2022 he won a National Championship. Coach Sharkey is currently managing the 2026 TBT Nationally Ranked team.

JUAN TORREALBA

Coach Torrealba started his journey playing football. While playing football he was introduced to strength coaches, Lee Fiochii and Pete Bommarito, who would go on to allow him to intern at their facility before heading to college. In their facility, Coach Torrealba was introduced to hundreds of professional athletes from all sports. Thanks to his confidence in that environment, many of the athletes took a liking to him and mentored him. Those lessons helped propel him to play for two universities and enjoy several professional opportunities. The knowledge that was acquired through practicing the craft of baseball consistently and rigorously for well over a decade led him to many developments and understandings that can only be attained by making the game a profession.

Currently, Coach Torrealba runs year-round training programs that cater to athletes of all levels in many different fields, specializing in performance training for professionals that includes a combination of strength, speed, skills, and medical services. The road of his career has led him to emphasize the Fusion© of skills and performance development being explained and implemented through the lenses of a practical rather than a theoretical approach.

The Athlete Project at TBT proudly runs our revolutionary Fusion© performance program. By understanding the necessities required of being an athlete at the highest level, we strive to integrate knowledge from all branches of sports performance into one cohesive program. That primarily includes strength, medical, skills, and speed. What this means is that an athlete’s biomechanics, health, stability, strength, skillset, gait, and time of year lead to dictating the specificity of the training phase taken into effect when creating their individualized group training regimen.

ORSEN JOSEPHINA

Pitching Coordinator

Born and raised In Curaçao an island in the Caribbean.

Coach OJ started playing baseball when he was 10 years old and began pitching when he was 16.

When he turned 18, he decided to move away from his family to Florida. In his senior year coach OJ only topped 80 MPH. He decided to work on his craft, made a program of weight training and throwing, and ended up topping at 88 by the end of the fall. By the end of his senior spring season, he was up to 91MPH.

After high school, Coach OJ attended Hillsborough State College for 2 years then transferred to Palm Beach Atlantic for 2 years. Coach OJ was then drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates and has been pitching for 3 years.

BRETT SCHNEIDER

PITCHING COORDINATOR

Coach Schneider graduated from Coral Springs High School and played varsity baseball from 2009-2012. He then went on to play college baseball at Dominican University in NY.

After graduating college, Coach Schneider started his professional career playing independent baseball. In 2018 he got his opportunity to play for the Vallejo Admirals of the Pacific Association, as a Relief Pitcher. During this season, he won pitcher of the year for the Admirals and was also one of 3 candidates for Rookie of the Year.

In 2019, Brett got promoted to the Can-Am League playing for the Rockland Boulders. After a great start to the season, Coach Schneider ended up needing Tommy John surgery, which put him out for the rest of the season and unfortunately out for the 2020 season as well. In 2021, Coach Schneider got back to playing baseball and was promoted to the Atlantic League. Here Coach Schneider played for the Lexington Legends, where he won a championship in his first year with the team.

Coach Schneider’s background as a pitching coach includes stints at Boca High, Dominican University, and North Broward Prep. Coach Schneider has also been involved in travel baseball until he wanted to concentrate on training athletes full-time.

MATTHEW LOPES

Coach Lopes graduated from Deerfield Beach High School where he was a three-sport athlete and a four-year letter winner on the baseball team. His senior season in 2010, he batted .541 and was a top hitter in Broward County.  Coach Lopes played college baseball at Wilmington University. In his 3 years as a starter from 2013-15, he was a 3-time 1st Team All-Conference & All-Region Player. During those years, Wilmington had its winningest teams in school history as well as its first-ever D2 College World Series appearance. 

After finishing his playing career, he became the head coach at Deerfield Beach HS, then spent three years as an assistant coach with Coral Springs HS & Elite Squad Baseball Academy. He eventually transitioned into developing players and has spent the last 5 years working with hitters at the youth level up to MLB players.

JESUS BLANCO

Coach Blanco was a scholar athlete and played at Palm Beach State where he pitched for 2 years. Coach Blanco in his first year at Palm Beach State, racked up 75 innings with 76 Ks and 12 BBs as their setup man.

After his success at Palm Beach State, Coach Blanco transferred to St. Thomas University where he was able to pitch for 2 years.

Coach Blanco is currently the Saint Andrews Middle and High School Coach and coaches at Boca Little League as an All-Star Coach. He specializes in and develops our youth athletes with his knowledge of hitting and pitching.

JHUNIOR CORDERO

Coach Cordero played in the minor leagues with the New York Yankees from 1997-1999 and with the Anaheim Angels from 1999-2002. He also played in the Venezuela Professional Baseball League with the “Leones de Caracas'' from 1999-2003.

Coach Cordero also represented Ecuador in the “South American Championship of 2012” in Guayaquil Ecuador winning the silver, and in the “Bolivariano 2013” in Lima Peru winning the bronze.

Coach Cordero has worked for 13 years as a coach on “Colegio Americano de Guayaquil” where he has won many titles with the 12u, 13u, 14u, 15u, and 16u. 

Coach Cordero is a specialist in hitting, fielding and catching.

Coach Cordero brings knowledge about softball, where he represented his country winning the championship home run derby in the “South American Softball Championship 2016” in Bogota, Colombia. And was able to win a Championship at the “South American Softball Championship 2018” in Monteria, Colombia.

HAROLD TREMONT

Coach Tremont pitched in the minor leagues for the Texas Rangers from 2000-2001.  After his baseball career, he wanted to continue his passion for baseball and began coaching. He got an opportunity to be the Pitching Coach for the Future Stars Baseball Academy in Venezuela.  When he was done with the Academy, Coach Tremont dedicated his time to helping to develop his daughter and son in their passion for softball and baseball.  Today, Coach Tremont is on the field coaching and training players of all ages.

EDWIN PAREDES

Coach Paredes played his college years at ASA College. In his sophomore year, he hit .369 and boasted a fielding percentage of .964. Notably, he earned first-team honors in both offense and defense for Region 15. Coach Paredes’ versatility on the diamond was evident as he excelled at playing multiple positions, including first and third base, contributing significantly to his team's triumphant back-to-back Region 15 division titles.

Yet, Coach Paredes’ narrative extends beyond the college campus. He embarked on a remarkable adventure in Puerto Rico, proudly representing the cities of Moca and Mayaguez for a memorable year.

In 2018, Edwin's journey led him to Florida, where he embarked on a fresh chapter in his baseball journey, but this time as a coach. His unwavering dedication to the sport now extends to mentoring and guiding athletes on the baseball field. Coach Paredes currently coaches two travel teams that span across the 9u and 10u divisions. Coach Paredes’ ability to share his knowledge, passion, and profound love for the game with the next generation has proven to be immensely rewarding.

RUBEN CABRERA

Coach Cabrera was signed in 1999 by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He also played in the Veneto league in the Dominican Republic.

After his playing days, Coach Cabrera was hired in 2002 by the Caracas Lions where he spent 5 years with them. He was then hired in 2006 to coach the Caribe Anzoátegui. In 2009 he was called to be part of the MLB World Classic. Coach Cabrera then signed a contract in Europe, playing the professional baseball league in Spain for 3 years. After his retirement in 2013 he went on to coordinate academies in Venezuela.
